This is a great guide to TWO of the best wine regions in the country, each of which has its own vibe and feel. This book has detailed descriptions and recommendations of vineyards, so its very helpful for figuring out which of the 100+ in the region you'll enjoy most. If you're casual and looking to sit outside, you won't want to randomly end up in a vineyard with $80 tastings and crystal chandeliers. I've been to napa and Sonoma before I bought hadbook and it can be really confusing. There are really SO many vineyards and creating the right map or itinerary can be a challenge, especially if you pass one you wanted to visit and realize you need to turn around and backtrack 20 miles. So I really like the itineraries in here along with the notes, like which wineries do or don't serve food. It's easy to carry a kindle around with you and it'll give you the benefit of doing an expertly led tour without the hassle of having to join a tour group or wine shuttle. Definitely worth it, happy I got it.
