I have always had a fascination for Egypt as a child I would read anything that was related to the subject. This is a fabulous way to entertain and teach children about not just Egypt, but the way civilizations grow.It has wonderful color illustrations and takes the reader up from prehistoric times to the building of the Egyptian civilization.Kudos to Mr. Linville for taking on such a subject and making it enjoyable as well as educational.As an adult, I found this book a fabulous read and worth the money. I will be giving it as presents to children that I know.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
