This book speaks for itself. I wanted to make my own melt and pour soaps so I could know what was in them. Maybe if I get the hang of it, I can add or take out what ever ingredient that I want to use.

Using melt and pour soap is a great way to create your own specialize soaps adding oatmeal and herbal elements you could come up with some very unique soaps I recommend this product to anyone
I have only been making soap for 4 months and had no problems with the recipes in this book.I was surprised at how easy it was to make my own melt and pour soap. I have made three of the recipes so far and each one turned out perfect. Of course I read the book cover to cover and I read the instructions several times before I started. No pictures needed. All you need is a brain that can follow the simple step by step directions directions, the ability to use a scale properly, and the ability to read the labels on your ingredients. I have made cold process, hot process, and liquid soap this was a breeze! I think it is wonderful to be able to add this to my repertoire. One of the best "how to make soap" books I have purchased. I have no idea which book Chris Redwood (the person who gave it one star) was reading but, it certainly was not this book. Worth every penny!
I prefer the book than a E book, because its much easy to read
I sell handcrafted soap, and business is good. I'm always looking for ways to save on costs, so I invested in this book. It gave me a greater appreciation for the work that goes into making my soap base and discouraged me from making my own. It is thorough and explains the process well, but I currently use too little base for my small handmade batches to make an additional investment in equipment and large quantities of ingredients. This may not seen a re positive review, but I am grateful. If you like to cook soap from scratch it would be a great guide. If, like me, you are uncertain, order a copy from the library. It explains it well.
